The Restaurant Revitalization Fund provides assistance for eligible restaurants, bars and other businesses impacted by COVID-19. The fund was created under the American Rescue Plan Act which allocated $28.6 billion to the Small Business Administration (SBA) to administer the industry-focused grants.
Some businesses may also be eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program or Economic Injury Disaster Loan. Businesses that receive a Restaurant Revitalization Fund grant are not eligible to receive a Shuttered Venue Operator Grant. To see if you are cross program eligible, view the SBA’s criteria here.
Restaurants, bars and other eligible providers of food and drink will be able to apply for grants equal to the pandemic-related revenue loss of the eligible entity, up to $10 million, or $5 million per physical location. The grants are calculated by subtracting 2020 revenue from 2019 revenue. There are three calculation categories depending on when the business was in operation.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
